The Agricultural Research Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration submitted for publication in the Federal Register a draft National Aquaculture Research and Development Strategic Plan (R&D Plan) for the United States for public review and comment.
USA: This plan will provide a framework for federal agencies to develop programs for research and development that affect the production of aquatic organisms such as finfish, crustaceans, mollusks, and algae. Public comment in regard to priorities, vision, and goals are being solicited.
The notice is scheduled for publication 7/12/2012. Until then, you can download the pre-publication PDF version. Written comments must be received by 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) within 45 days of publication in the Federal Register.
